BERN (Swiss), media3.id- The younger brother of the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, Elpi Nazmuzaman confirmed the news that Emmeril Khan Mumtadz or commonly called Eril experienced an accident in Bern, Switzerland on May 26, 2022 at noon Swiss time.
“Eril is the eldest child of my brother, Ridwan Kamil. The family was in Switzerland at that time looking for a school for Eril who will continue his master’s degree. At the time of the incident, Mr. Ridwan Kamil was in England on government activities abroad with a delegation from the provincial government. West Java,” said Elpi, Friday (27/5/2022).
Eril’s condition is currently still being searched by the SAR team and the Swiss police. However, the search was temporarily suspended because it was getting dark and the plan was to continue tomorrow morning.
“The search has been running for 6 hours on Thursday, May 26 at 23 WIB, and we hope that Eril can be found soon in good health,” he hoped.
Chronology of the disaster, Eril swims in the river Aaree, Bern, with his sister and friends. When he wanted to rise to the surface, Eril was dragged by a fairly swift current of a river that had previously received help from his friend. The incident occurred on May 26, 2022 at noon Swiss time with sunny weather conditions.
Furthermore, Ridwan Kamil immediately followed to Switzerland after receiving the news of the disaster and is currently meeting with his family there.
“We are grateful for the attention and assistance from the Indonesian embassy in Switzerland as well as the local police who are continuously trying to find Emmeril’s whereabouts. We ask for prayers so that Eril can be found safe and well. Can reunite with his family in good health and well, ” concluded Elpi.
